Kaiyukan is open earlier than usual in May. The morning sunlight comes into the tank and is shining brightly, very beautiful. Please check the opening hours as below.
From May 1 to July 15, 2016
May 1 - 2 9:30 - 20:00 (last admission until 19:00)
May 3 - 5 8:30 - 20:30 (last admission until 19:30)
May 6 - 31 9:30 - 20:00 (last admission until 19:00)
June 1 - July 15 10:00 - 20:00 (last admission until 19:00)
In Aqua Gate, you can feel spring by colorful fishes exhibiting!
The chance to experience as if walking under water. In the tunnel-shaped tank of 11m in total length, group of Crimson sea-bream are exhibiting only in spring. You can enjoy the experience as if surrounding petals of sea! Sea goldie, Square-spot fairy basslet, Flame fairly basslet, etc, they are swimming around like petals of cherry blossom are dancing and coloring under water.

Special exhibition of an ocean sunfish, a marine creature popular for its unique appearance and behavior
Osaka Aquarium KAIYUKAN is currently exhibiting an ocean sunfish at the Seasonal Exhibit tank on the 6F for a limited period of time. Visitors can enjoy its unique and attractive appearance.
