Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan is open every day through the end of the year 2013. Regarding next year, we will be closed on January 8th and 9th, and February 12th and 13th, 2014.

Last admission is one hour before closing.
Please note that hours of operation will be extended as for the following period:

| Wheelchair |

All the routes in the aquarium are free of barriers.
Visitors who use wheelchairs take some explanations about the aquarium tour at the Aquarium Information Center on the second floor of the Entrance Building (located in the Event Square floor).
A visitor who needs a wheelchair can borrow it at the Information Center free of charge. |

With moving images on the screen, the Audio Guide will guide you through Kaiyukan while providing you with fun stories and deeper insight about marine animals and its surrounding environment at 24 spots of interest.
It is available in 4 different languages: English, Chinese, Korean, and Japanese.
Please ask at Information on the 3rd floor.

| KAIYUKAN Museum Shop |

A wide variety of KAIYUKAN original goods and other products with themes of nature and ocean are sold here. One section sells fossils of fishes and creatures that lived about 200 million years ago. Another section sells shells and minerals.

and original goods only sold in the KAIYUKAN Aquarium. |

Tempozan Marketplace
The floor filled with food, goods, fashions and amusements is just a seaside festive market. Naniwa Kuishinbo Yokocho is the first food theme park in Japan, where the original creators of typical Kansai cuisine open their restaurants.

Tempozan Giant Ferris Wheel
This is one of the largest Ferris wheels in the world. Enjoy its panoramic view of Osaka Bay, Ikoma Mountains to the east, Akashi Kaikyo Bridge to the west, Kansai International Airport to the south, and the Rokko Mountain Range to the north.
