Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan is open every day through the end of the year 2015 except for the following dates for maintenance and safety checks:
 ・January 14th and 15th, 2015
 ・February 4th and 5th, 2015

[Regular Hours] 10 a.m.-8 p.m.
Last entry is 1 (one) hour prior to the closing time.

April 29-30: 9:30 a.m.-8 p.m. (tourist season)
May 3-5: 8:30 a.m.-8:30 p.m. (Golden week holidays)
May except for 3-5: 9:30 a.m.-8 p.m. (tourist season)
July 18-31: 9:30 a.m.-8 p.m. (summer vacation)
August except for 12-15: 9:30 a.m. -8 p.m. (summer vacation)
August 12-15: 8:30 a.m.-8:30 p.m. (Obon holidays)
September 19, 23: 9:30 a.m.-8 p.m. (tourist season)
September 20-22: 8:30 a.m.-8:30 p.m. (tourist season)

<General Admission>
Adult (16+, High school): 2,300 yen
Senior (60+): 2,000 yen
Child (7-15, Elementary school and Junior high-school): 1,200 yen
Pre-school child (4-6): 600 yen
Age 3 and under: Free
- To receive special rate for seniors, please show an official ID (passport, driver’s license etc.), which contains date of birth, at the ticket counter.
- The holder of physical disability certificate and their caretaker (1 person), are entitled to receive 50% discount. Please show the certificate at the ticket counter. The discount is applied only if such certificate is issued in Japan.

<Group Admission: Group of 15 paid entry or more>
To receive a special discount for groups, please make reservation prior to your visit. Contact our information desk via e-mail (info2@kaiyukan.com) or call +81-6-6576-5501 to get an application.

Senior high school: 1,600 yen
Junior high school & elementary school: 720 yen
Pre-school, age 3 and over: 320 yen
- Group discounts are available only when the members enter the aquarium at the same time.
- Admission of the accompanying teacher and tour guide etc. is free.

All the routes in the aquarium are free of barriers.
Visitors who use wheelchairs take some explanations about the aquarium tour at the Aquarium Information Center on the second floor of the Entrance Building (located in the Event Square floor).
A visitor who needs a wheelchair can borrow it at the Information Center free of charge.
 Audio Guide
voice guidance system With moving images on the screen, the Audio Guide will guide you through Kaiyukan while providing you with fun stories and deeper insight about marine animals and its surrounding environment at 24 spots of interest.
It is available in 4 different languages: English, Chinese, Korean, and Japanese.
Please ask at Information on the 3rd floor.

 KAIYUKAN Museum Shop
A wide variety of KAIYUKAN original goods and other products with themes of nature and ocean are sold here. One section sells fossils of fishes and creatures that lived about 200 million years ago. Another section sells shells and minerals.

At the Service corner in the Aquarium, you can get several types of guidebooks and original goods only sold in the KAIYUKAN Aquarium.

Tempozan Marketplace
The floor filled with food, goods, fashions and amusements is just a seaside festive market. Naniwa Kuishinbo Yokocho is the first food theme park in Japan, where the original creators of typical Kansai cuisine open their restaurants.

Tempozan Giant Ferris Wheel
This is one of the largest Ferris wheels in the world. Enjoy its panoramic view of Osaka Bay, Ikoma Mountains to the east, Akashi Kaikyo Bridge to the west, Kansai International Airport to the south, and the Rokko Mountain Range to the north.

 Coin Locker
Coin lockers are installed at the Information and the KAIYUKAN entrance.
The service charge is from 200 yen for ordinary bags to 1,000 yen for large-sized suitcases or backpacks.
 Room for Baby and Mother
Babybeds Baby beds to change diapers are installed in all the restrooms.
Nursing room for Baby and Mother is located on the second floor.
 First Aid
In the First Aids of KAIYUKAN, a nurse and staff members are ready to give their medical treatment.
 Credit Card
In KAIYUKAN, UC, JCB, VISA, MasterCard and other credit cards are available to use. Please note that the available card varies according to the restaurants or shops in Tempozan Harbor Village.
Any traveler's checks are not available in the Aquarium, restaurants and shops.
